Gross picture : Tissue fragments of curette specimen ( 1.5 cm )

Microscopic examination : The biopsy revealed endometrial tissue shows tubular contours of glands lined by columnar epithelium . the glands are separated by ovoid compact stroma . other are formed predominantly of cervical tissue which is the seat of subepithelial inflammatory cells and fragmented endocervical glands . no malignancy .


Diagnosis :
Proliferative endomertium with non specific cervicitis .
