قشر الرمان علاج لقرحة المعدة
ثمار الرمان فاكهة لذيذة الطعم عرفت منذ قديم الزمن ويقال ان موطن اشجارها الأصلي في ايران وما حولها ، ومنها انتشرت زراعته في كثير من البلدان ذات الاجواء الدافئة . وفي المملكة العربية السعودية تعد مدينة الطائف ، والمناطق المحيطة بها من أشهر مزارع المملكة في انتاج افخر انواع الرمان الحجازي من دون تحفظات وشجرة الرمان صغيرة الحجم . وهي من الاشجار المعمرة التي تتساقط اوراقها في موسم الشتاء ، وزهور الرمان جميلة الشكل بيضاء او حمراء اللون تصلح كزهور رائعة للزينة او للتقديم اثناء المناسبات ، اما ثمار الرمان فهي كروية الشكل ولها جلد أملس سميك (سمكه نحوه 1.5 ملليمترا) لونه أما أحمر قرمزي او اصفر جميل ، وداخل الثمرة مئات من الحبوب المائية اللامعة الشبيهة بفصوص « المأس » . في كل حبة بذرة صلبة او لينة وفقا لنوعية الاصناف .
أما قشور الرمان الجلدية ، فلقد عرفت خصائصها كمادة ملونة للصباغة منذ مئات السنين . بسب احتوائها على مادة قلوية مميزة تعرف باسم « التانين » Tannins التي تعرف في العربية ياضاً بإسم « المغص » . هذه المادة داكنة اللون . استعملت في الماضي وما زالت تستعجل حتى الآن في الماضي ومازالت تستعمل حتى الآن في دباغة الجلود ، وكمادة صبغية سوداء اللون لصباغة الحرير .
وفي كلية العلوم في جامعة الملك سعود في الرياض يجري الباحث السعودي الدكتور حسن محمد السويدان بقسم الكيمياء ابحاثاً مستفيضة على ثمار الرمان وقشوره بهدف معرفة اهم المكونات الكيميائية الداخلة في تركيبه ، ويقول الدكتور السويدان في حديث اجرته معه جريدة ( الرياض ) ان هذا البحث اشتقت فكرته في ان الاعتقاد الشائع لدى بعض الناس عن أهمية قشر الرمان في علاج قرحة المعدة فكثير من هؤلاء المرضى تتحسن أحوالهم بعد تناول قشور الرمان المطحونة مع العسل كوصفة عربية معروفة منذ القديم .
ومن هنا كان من الضروري اجراء بحوث علمية مستفيضة لمعرفة نوعية المكونات الكيميائية الموجودة في قشر الرمان . واهميتها في علاج القرحة . ولا شك ان المنهاج العلمي السليم في مثل هذه الاُمور هو السبيل الوحيد التأكد من صحة هذه الاعتقادات التي توارثها الناس عبر الاجيال .
ويتضمن البحث العلمي الذي يقوم به د . السويدان ايجاد انسب الطرق الكيميائية لاستخلاص مختلف المكونات الكيميائية الفعالة الموجودة في لب ثمار الرمان وقشوره .
